The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation is condemning the installation of an illegal sign near the Jamaica Society for the Blind, saying it poses a serious danger to visually impaired pedestrians and must be removed immediately, with those responsible held accountable.

Kevin Kerr, Acting President of the National Water Commission (NWC), highlighted the importance of rebuilding and strengthening Jamaica’s water infrastructure as part of the country’s recovery and resilience efforts.Mr. Kerr said the discussions reinforced the need for teamwork among government agencies, noting that successful reconstruction requires a coordinated approach where all stakeholders work together.
